Automatic installation

Servers.com offers a set of operating systems for automatic installation and re-installation on bare metal servers (you will find the list below). Automatic OS installation and re-installation can be ordered during the initial server configuration or later in the customer portal.

The following operating systems for the x64 architecture are available for automatic installation and re-installation on bare metal servers:

Installation from a custom image

You can boot a custom OS image and install an operating system of your choice using your Dell server's out-of-band management platform – iDRAC. Please refer to the "How to boot a dedicated server into a custom OS image using iDRAC" article for instructions.
